The Immigration Research Group at UC Riverside seeks to make research and data on immigration and immigrant integration relevant to a variety of audiences, including scholars, journalists, community organizations, government officials, and the general public.
We draw strength from our research in public policy, public health, education, and the social sciences. In addition, UC Riverside is in the midst of a significant expansion of its faculty, with at least four anticipated hires in “empirical and applied approaches” to the study of race, immigration, and integration. Finally, public outreach is integral to the work of the group, drawing on faculty connections with think tanks, news media, public of cials, and community organizations.
